Trying a church for the first time can come with a lot of questions, especially if church is completely new to you.
So, just come as you are. We’ll help you find your way, and you’re welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

If Church Is Completely New to You
You Don’t Need to Know the “Right” Way to Do Church
There is no test, no dress code, and no expectation that you already know the Bible or understand church terminology. You can ask questions, bring a friend, sit quietly, sing along, or simply watch and listen.
Our goal is for you to feel welcome, not pressured.
Before the Service
What Happens When You Arrive?
You do not need to figure everything out on your own. Here is what your first few minutes at The Bridge will generally look like.
Grab Coffee
Before you head inside, stop by the tent outside the entrance for free coffee and pastries. You’re welcome to grab something, say hello, and settle in before the service begins.
Come Inside
As you enter, you’ll find people nearby who can help you locate the worship space, children’s areas, restrooms, or anything else you need.
Find a Seat
Sit wherever you feel comfortable. There are no assigned seats, and you do not need to arrive knowing anyone.
During the Service
What Happens on a Sunday?
Services last about 80 minutes. You are welcome to take everything in at your own pace. A typical Sunday includes worship music, a Bible-based message, time to greet one another, and communion on the first Sunday of the month.
Music & Worship
The service includes live worship music. You may see people standing, singing, praying, or raising their hands. There is no expectation that you do the same. If you are new to church, it is completely fine to simply listen and observe.
A Bible-Based Message
Our pastor will share a practical message based on the Bible. You do not need to bring a printed Bible or already understand Christianity to follow along. Many people use a Bible app on their phone or another personal device during the message.
Communion
On the first Sunday of the month, the service includes communion, a Christian practice that remembers Jesus' sacrifice for our sins. If you are unfamiliar with communion or don't wish to participate, there is no pressure. You can simply remain seated and observe.
No Pressure
You will not be required to introduce yourself publicly, give money, become a member, sign up for anything, or already know the words to songs or prayers. It's completely okay to simply come, spend time with God’s people, listen to His Word, and get comfortable at your own pace. When you feel ready to take another step, we’ll be here to help.
Bringing Your Family?
Kids & Teens
Age-appropriate programs are available for babies, children, and teens. If you are checking in a younger child for the first time, arriving about 15 minutes early will give your family plenty of time to get settled.

Baby Bridge
Ages 0–3
A caring and playful environment where babies and young children receive focused attention while parents participate in the Sunday service.
Kidz Bridge
Ages 4–11
Children participate in fun, age-appropriate activities and Bible teaching designed to help them grow in their relationship with God.
Youth Bridge
Ages 13–18
Teens have a welcoming place to explore faith, build friendships, study the Bible, serve others, and connect with other students.
After the Service
What Happens Next?
You can leave right after the service, stay and talk with people, ask questions, or learn more about The Bridge. There is no expectation that you make a commitment on your first visit.

A Few Things You May Be Wondering
Do I have to be a Christian to attend?
Everyone is welcome at The Bridge whether you have followed Jesus for years, are unsure what you believe, or are simply curious about Christianity.
Will anyone make me introduce myself?
No — we want you to feel comfortable visiting without worrying about being singled out or asked to speak in front of the church. You may be welcomed by people as you arrive, and during the service there is a brief two- to three-minute greeting time between worship and the message when people may say good morning, shake your hand, or introduce themselves. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
What if I don’t know the songs or prayers?
There’s no expectation that you already know the songs, prayers, or what to do during the service. You’re welcome to worship by listening, watching, or joining in whenever you feel comfortable.
Do I need to bring a Bible?
You’re welcome to bring a Bible if you have one, but you do not need to bring a printed Bible to follow the service. Many people use a Bible app on their phone or another device during the message. Digital message notes are also available and include links to Bible.com and the passages being discussed.
Bible verses referenced during the sermon are also shown on the display screens so you can read along. If you do not have a Bible and would like one, free Bibles are available in the lobby for you to take home.
What if I have questions about Christianity?
Questions are always welcome. If you would like to talk with someone in person, look for one of our greeters, a member of the prayer team, or anyone wearing a Bridge lanyard. They can listen, answer questions, pray with you, or connect you with the right person, including a pastor or ministry leader when appropriate.
Members of our prayer team wear name tags identifying them as part of the Prayer Group, so they are easy to recognize if you would like someone to talk or pray with.
If you would rather not have a face-to-face conversation on your first Sunday, that is completely fine too. You can contact the church office, send an email, or complete a Connection Card and ask someone to follow up with you later.
Come as You Are
You do not need to have church figured out before you walk through the doors. Join us Sunday at 9:00am or 10:30am and experience The Bridge for yourself.
