Our Expansion Vision

Making Room for Life Change

Expansion in progress

We’re not just adding square footage. We’re creating space for life change.

What began as a vision for more room has moved into active build-out. Some parts of the expansion are already taking shape, while work continues on the spaces that will serve our church family and community for years to come.

The Bridge Church expansion project in progress.

A Holy Problem, A Holy Opportunity

Why We Chose to Expand

From the beginning, The Bridge Church has focused on teaching God’s Word, loving people, and lifting up Jesus’ name. As the church grew, Sunday services became fuller, children’s and youth ministries expanded, and our existing building began reaching its practical limits.

The expansion vision grew out of that reality: make room for the people already coming, prepare for those still to come, and create better spaces for worship, discipleship, care, families, and ministry throughout the week.

The Full Original Plan

The Bridge Ahead

The original expansion booklet brings the full vision together in one place, including the purpose behind the project, proposed spaces, renderings, priorities, and the broader plan shared with The Bridge church family.

While the project has moved from planning into active build-out, the booklet remains the best reference for the original vision that shaped the expansion.

Expansion Update

The Vision Is Becoming Reality

The expansion is no longer just a set of plans and renderings. Work is actively happening throughout the building, and members of our church family have been helping along the way.

We are grateful for every person who has prayed, given, volunteered, worked, and helped move the project forward. There is still work to complete, but a significant part of the vision is already taking shape.

Building Together

Our Church Family at Work

One of the best parts of the expansion has been seeing people from The Bridge step in and help. Members of our church family have given their time and energy to help turn the original plans into real spaces for ministry.

Real People. Real Stories. Real Impact.

The Reason We Make Room

The expansion is ultimately about people. These are some of the stories behind why creating room for worship, families, relationships, and ministry matters.

“After years of trying to get me back into church again, my wife finally talked me into going to Easter Service at The Bridge. Once I walked into the church, not one, not two, but dozens of strangers welcomed me. They made me feel like this was my home.”

— Emmons

“The Bridge Church has meant so much to me and my family. We have been welcomed with open arms as if we were long lost family members. Our faith in God has been strengthened through the teachings and relationships built at this church.”

— Moore

“We have attended The Bridge for over 10 years. Pastor Scott has the ability to make the Word come alive and look at God’s Word in a way that challenges us. The Bridge Church is not just another church, it is a family that worships together!”

— Kennedy

“We were invited to The Bridge by a friend in April 2024, and from the moment we walked through the doors, we could feel something different. The Bridge has truly become our home.”

— Burgueno

From Pastor Scott

A Stake in the Ground

The original vision was not simply to renovate a building. It was to prepare The Bridge for the people and ministry God continues to place in front of us.

Over the past few years, we’ve watched God grow The Bridge in ways we never imagined. Families are finding hope, youth are coming alive in Christ, and people are rediscovering the beauty of church.

This expansion is about making room for more people to experience what you’ve found here—a real place, with real people, chasing after a real God. We’re not just renovating a building. We’re building a future—one that can hold the next wave of salvations, baptisms, marriages, friendships, worship nights, and Vacation Bible School weeks.

There was a time in my life when I had everything I thought would fulfill me—and I still felt empty. I was chasing things the world told me would satisfy, but deep down I knew there had to be more. I found the answers in Jesus. He gave me purpose and peace, and now all I want is to bring that hope to the people in our community who are still searching.

I’ve always believed that church should feel like family. This expansion allows us to welcome more people to the table. It has taken shared sacrifice, bold faith, generosity, hard work, and unity—and as the work continues, I remain grateful for every person helping make it possible.

With love and faith,
Pastor Scott Hayden

If God’s Not in It, We Don’t Want It

Our Prayer

We don’t just want to complete this project. We want to continue saturating it in prayer. The building matters because of the people who will worship, learn, receive care, build relationships, and encounter Jesus here.

Pray for Unity

Pray that our church continues moving forward together with one heart and one purpose.

Pray for Provision

Pray for the remaining financial resources, materials, volunteers, skills, and support needed to finish well.

Pray for the People Ahead

Pray for the people who are not here yet—the searching, curious, hurting, lonely, and those who need a church home.

Pray for the Process

Pray for wisdom, safety, good decisions, skilled work, smooth completion, and patience throughout the remaining build-out.

Pray for Revival

Pray that the result is not simply more room, but deeper faith, changed lives, and a church increasingly passionate about Jesus.

Help Us Finish Strong

There are many ways to be part of the remaining work. You can give financially, or let the church office know if you would like to donate goods, share a skill, or volunteer your time.
