1
Talk to God
Prayer does not require special words. Talk honestly with
God about what you are thinking, what you are grateful for,
what you need, and what you are learning.
You can pray anywhere and at any time. A simple place to
start is to thank God, ask for His help, talk to Him about
your concerns, and spend a few quiet moments listening and
reflecting.
2
Begin Reading the Bible
Scripture helps us understand who God is, what Jesus
taught, and how faith connects with everyday life. The
Gospel of John is a helpful place to begin if the Bible
is new to you.
YouVersion also offers Bible reading and study plans that
can help you build a regular habit and explore specific
topics at your own pace.
3
Find People to Grow With
Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey.
Small Groups give you a place to build relationships,
ask questions, pray together, and grow alongside other
people.
4
Consider Baptism
Baptism is a public expression of your faith in Jesus and
an important next step for someone who has chosen to
follow Him.
5
Use Your Gifts to Serve
Part of following Jesus is learning to use the abilities,
time, experience, and gifts God has given you to serve
others.
That might mean helping with a ministry at The Bridge or
taking part in one of our community programs that gives
back to people in Corona and the surrounding area. You do
not have to wait until you feel like an expert. Serving is
one of the ways we grow in faith, care for other people,
and put what we believe into practice.
