Christmas Campaign 2023
This Christmas we are excited to invite you to participate in our Christmas Giving Campaign. In a season notorious for consumerism and indulgence, can we, as followers of Jesus, show up and sow seeds of Kingdom generosity?
Community
Here are the specific ways your generosity is intended to serve within our community and church:
First, continued partnership with Corona-Norco School District through our Warm Clothing Drive, where it has been identified that there are 400 kids who are either homeless or in foster care with specific needs.
We are collecting now through December 17th NEW warm clothing, coats, gloves, etc for K-8th grade. Please provide only new items, as the district specifically restricts used items.
In addition to the needs, we would like to bring happiness to the tweens and teens, grades 6th-12th with $5 gift card stocking stuffers. If you’re at Target, Taco Bell, Chic-fil-a, etc, grab a $5 gift card & bring it to church, letting kids encounter God’s community.
People
Second, bridging discipleship through the people in our church. We are seeing a growing number of people, families and kids at The Bridge Church in Corona.
The work of each ministry has already begun through classroom and church updates, events, and new volunteers and ministries.
We need to continue to make existing classroom areas safe, comfortable and hospitable in both Kidz Bridge rooms as well as the Teens Bridge room so we can double the growth of God’s Kingdom.
Places
We want to improve the spaces we currently have so that more people can experience what it means to have a relationship with Jesus.
Some of those projects are things like updated stage design, baptism tub, flags and signage for lobby, rooms, street, and building.
While we are making the best of the space we have, we are preparing for the future and within that, the possibility of a new building to provide additional space to reach and share more of God’s message.
Technology
Reaching around the world and reaching the next generation both require investment in technology. We want to provide a seamless experience whether in-person or online.
Some specific ways we would like to do this is through new and updated AV items, such as cameras for online videos and photography, confidence monitor, and updated lighting.
By giving to The Bridge Church through the end of 2023, you are contributing to this campaign and investing in the future of your church for the next generation of Christians! Like all gifts made to The Bridge, the money you contribute to this campaign is completely tax-deductible for the tax year in which we received the gift. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes early in 2024.
