This Sunday: Developing the Habit of Generosity (Part 8 You’ll Get Through This)
November 20, 2022 @ 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
There are very few people who don’t like the idea of generosity. Most of us love to help others and confront needs when we see them. Unfortunately, there are also very few people who are content with the level of generosity in their lives. Do you wish you were able to give more? Do you want to take the steps to make generosity more intentional in your life?
If so, join us this Sunday, November 20th, at 10am either in-person or live online to hear Pastor Scott continue the campaign message series, “You’ll Get Through This,” and hear him speak on the topic, “Developing the Habit of Generosity.”

Fall Focus – Celebration Sunday
This Sunday, November 20th, we will have a time of celebration with a special thanksgiving message, and fellowship dinner to give thanks to God for all he accomplished in our lives, our church and community during the fall focus.

Operation Christmas Child
This year The Bridge Church is participating in Operation Christmas Child which is a ministry that distributes shoeboxes to millions of children around the world!
Each of these boxes are packed with unique toys, school supplies, personal care items, clothing accessories and heartfelt prayers as a tangible expression of God’s love to a boy or girl in need. In addition, the shoeboxes provided an effective way for partnering local churches around the world to share the Gospel message with their communities.
Here’s how to pack a shoebox:
1. Use an empty shoe box (provided by church in lobby) or small plastic container the size of a shoe box. Christmas wrapping is optional. Or build a shoebox online!
2. Place a label (provided by church in lobby) on the box indicating if the contents are for a boy or girl. Also indicate the child’s age category: 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14.
3. Fill the box with a variety of gifts such as:
School supplies – pens, pencils, sharpeners, crayons, markers, writing pads, calculators, etc.
Toys – small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, yo-yos, jump rope, etc.
Hygiene items- Toothbrush, soap (in plastic bag) comb, brush, etc.
Clothes – Socks, knit hats, hair clips, t-shirts, etc.
Do not include candy, toothpaste, gum, used or damaged items, scary or war-related items, seeds, food, liquids or lotions, medications or vitamins, drink mixes (powdered or liquid), breakable items, glass, or aerosol cans.
Please drop off the shoe boxes at The Bridge Church by this Sunday, November 21st.
We are also looking for people who can help in the distribution warehouse in Fullerton. Please let us know if you can help or see Jay Blakeborough if you are interested in assisting.

Take A Hike
Our Take A Hike activity group is a great way to get some exercise, get some fresh air and meet some new people from our church and community.
Join us this Saturday, November 19th at 8am to take a hike.
We are dedicated to explore the hills and mountains in the Riverside and San Bernardino areas with others in our church and community.
